West L.A. Music Donates Autographed Guitar to Phoenix House

LOS ANGELES, CA — West L.A. Music, in collaboration with Los Angeles singer/songwriter Kara DioGuardi, recently donated a Fender Squire Stratocaster electric guitar autographed by Nick Lachey (98 Degrees) and Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) to Phoenix House California. The autographed guitar was donated for Phoenix House's 4th Annual Triumph for Teens Awards Gala on April 25, 2007. Honorees included the cast and crew of the television comedy “George Lopez,” the singer and actress Lorna Luft, and the producers of the motion picture “Freedom Writers.”

Phoenix House has served communities in California since 1979, helping thousands to overcome the problems associated with drug and alcohol abuse and lead healthy, productive and rewarding lives. Some 2,200 adults and teenagers receive treatment each day through more than 20 Phoenix House programs in Southern and Central California.

West L.A. Music supplies equipment for major artists, recording studios, broadcast companies, film and video post-production facilities, producers, composers and record companies, as well as schools, religious organizations and government agencies.

Kara DioGuardi has written or co-written international hits for Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Hillary Duff, Avril Lavigne and many others.
