LOS ANGELES, CA — West L.A. Music received the "Most Monstrous Pro/MI Independent Specialist Retailer" award from Monster Cable for the 2003 sales year. The award was presented to West L.A. Music's General Manager Rick Waite and its top Monster Salesman and Monster Specialist Noel Gould by Head Monster and company founder Noel Lee. The awards ceremony took place during Winter NAMM in Anaheim at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen at Downtown Disney.
In 2003 West L.A. Music increased its Monster sales 75% over its 2002 sales to earn the award. The increase in sales can be attributed to added sales staff training, overall Monster awareness, being the first Pro/MI dealer to sell Monster Power and making sure to promote attachment selling.
"We've been a key Monster Cable dealer for years and became the first Pro/MI M4 dealer. Monster invests tremendous resources in training their dealers and as the first Monster Specialist, I'm responsible for driving sales of this terrific product", said Gould.
West L.A. Music supplies equipment for major artists, recording studios, broadcast companies, film and video post production facilities, producers, composers and record companies, as well as schools, religious organizations and government agencies.
