AT WEST L.A. MUSIC’S 2010 RECORDING EXPO
LOS ANGELES – West L.A. Music’s 2010 Recording Expo drew thousands of producers, engineers, composers, educators, musicians, and recording enthusiasts for two days of product exhibits by the industry’s leading manufacturers and seminars by award-winning industry experts.
In-depth seminars by key speakers included topics such as “How to Produce a Hit Record” by multi-platinum producer Michael Lloyd, “Beat Production Using MOTU BPM” by multi-platinum producer Teddy Riley, “The Art of Film Scoring” by Emmy award-winning composer Charles Bernstein, “Making Hit Records & Writing Hit Songs” by multi-platinum producer Val Garay, “Recording and Mixing for Top Artists” by Grammy award-winning producer Bob Clearmountain, “Recording Mega Hits—Featuring Pro Tools HD Native” by Grammy award-winning producer/engineer Andrew Scheps, and “Recording Hits in Your Home Studio” by Grammy award-winning producer/engineer Francis Buckley. Jeff Greenberg, CEO of the world famous Village Studios, introduced legendary audio pioneer Rupert Neve for a highly anticipated keynote address.
The Recording Expo was held in West Los Angeles at West L.A. Music’s Santa Monica Blvd. location, as well as the adjacent Los Angeles Community Center and the world famous Village Studios. West L.A. Music’s Recording Expo is the largest independent consumer music products show in the nation.
